Life Tool: GoodReads

I’be been using GoodReads for over 5 years now, and it’s nice tool.

It keeps track of your books with a feature named My Books.

Plus it integrates with Amazon, so any books you buy there are available inside GoodReads. And it integrates into many popular social networks so you can find out what your friends are reading and share with them what you are reading.

You can set reading goals, and see the most popular books overall or across your friends.

Habits: The Building Blocks of our Lives

Here are the habits I am working on building in my life:

S.M.A.R.T. Goal: Spiritual Growth

Today I wanted to take a first pass look at spiritual growth with some S.M.A.R.T. goals.

Goals: How long does it take to make a habit?

21 days

What this research suggests is that 21 days to form a habit is probably right, as long as all you want to do is drink a glass of water after breakfast. Anything harder is likely to take longer to become a really strong habit, and, in the case of some activities, much longer.
